When I tell you it's easy ~ I'm not joking, you only need 3 main ingredients!! Plus you can increase or decrease your amounts to make as much or as little as you need!

Here's your grocery list:

  • 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breast

  • 1-1.5 cups of your favorite salsa

  • 1/4 packet of your favorite taco seasoning

Here's a few suggestions of things to have on hand to "make it a meal"

  • Tortillas (corn or flour) or Tortilla chips

  • Sour cream

  • Avocado

  • Shredded cheese

  • Your favorite rice or beans

Instructions:

  1. Place chicken in your crockpot

  2. Top with 1-1.5 cups of your favorite salsa. (we use black bean and corn salsa)

  3. Sprinkle 1/4 packet of your favorite taco seasoning on top and chicken and salsa

  4. Cook on high for 3-3.5 hours oh high (or until fully cooked) - longer if frozen

  5. When there is about 20 minutes left shred you chicken right there in the crockpot and then cover and let chicken finish simmering for remaining time

  6. Serve as you please and enjoy!

It really is that easy!! Here's a quick video to give you an idea of how simply and yummy it is!
